Tony
is a male Indonesian tiger that was confiscated in a drug raid. The
narcotics task force of Beaumont, Texas had made a drug raid and
discovered Tony, a two month old Indonesian tiger cub. Tony was being
kept illegally, so he was taken by the Beaumont Animal Control. The
Refuge was called and took the little cub. He was still on a bottle so he
had to be fed around the clock just like a human baby. He had to stay in
the house to be fed regularly and until he was big enough and old enough
to live in a habitat outside.
He is now a well adjusted beautiful 6 yr. old, who love to see people,
talk to people and have people talk to him! He is always thinking and
very intelligent. .Another favorite pastime for Tony is cooling off in his
new in ground pond while swimming with one paw above water!
Thanks to the Refuge, Tony will not
have to wonder where he will be a few months from now.
