Kirby,
a male Grizzly bear, was rescued after his mother died during the
Santa Ana, California wildfires. He was found badly burned by
wildlife agents and flown to the Refuge along with Maggie. When he
arrived, he lived in the house for
several months until his burns healed and his hair started growing
back. He is 9 months in this picture on the left and looks much
better.
